The consultation is intended for diagnosis and selection of the best therapy for the patient’s health complaints. Fango or therapeutic mud is formed and ripened in the Sečovlje salt pans. It is extremely rich in marine minerals, which have an anti-pain and anti-inflammatory effect; they are also soothing, increase body resistance and have a beneficial effect on the skin.
Therapeutic mud (fango) wrap is recommended especially for degenerative changes in the movement system (pain in the spine, back, joints) for muscle pain and chronic inflammatory rheumatism, while it can be used cold after operations on the joints and for joint swelling. After examination, the doctor determines the parts of the body to which a thick layer of therapeutic mud heated to the appropriate temperature is applied.
Pearl sea baths are performed in excellent massage tubs with 140 water nozzles and 40 air nozzles, which ensure a thorough massage of all parts of the body. The massage bathtub allows individual selection of massage programme and power. With the help of a special “star light” effect, various accessories for bath and chromotherapy, the massage takes you to the state of deepest relaxation. You can choose between a sea water bath and a salt supplement, with brine, algae or essential oils for circulation, relaxation, detoxification, refreshment etc.
With the physiotherapeutic classical massage, we relax tense muscles. We use a variety of techniques. A classic massage positively affects the entire body, improves blood circulation, accelerates the lymph flow, and above all, has a positive effect on the muscles that release, stretch and soften muscle tissue thickening (painful points). It also affects the psychological state of the person, since it has a soothing effect.
Most people breathe in a shallow way and thus do not use their entire pulmonary capacity. Because of this, the lungs are not sufficiently and completely filled with air, thus the body is not sufficiently supplied with oxygen; it is energetically less capable, and the body posture also changes, which leads to neck and back pain. These irregular breathing techniques and their consequences are even more often observed after injuries and operations, as well as illnesses. Smooth abdominal breathing is the right kind of breathing, which provides the body with sufficient oxygen. The diaphragm massages the abdominal organs and helps them to function well, while massaging and stimulating the heart.
We conduct them in our pools with thermomineral water under the guidance of physiotherapists. Water exercises are suitable for all chronic diseases, in particular diseases of the movement system, for maintaining general fitness and as a preventive measure. They are especially suitable for people who have difficulty exercising out of water.
